^ A circular of walk of the three Baldersdale reservoirs
covers ~12 miles, taking about four hours - it's a 
magnificent experience with many highlights.
Fishing
  • Fishing at Hury reservoir. A permit is £15 for a full day; permits are machine issued. Fishing is from six in the morning until one hour after dusk. Bank fishing only, and the bag limit is six fish, with a minimum size of nine inches.

  • Down-the-Line Sporting Clays at Kilmond Wood Shoot near the A66 (15 miles west of Scotch Corner and 2 miles east of Bowes).
